A ski lodge is a building at a ski resort or mountain skiing area that provides skiers and snowboarders with food, drink, seating, restrooms and locker rooms. Larger resorts typically operate more than one lodge, placing them at the base of the mountain and again at higher elevations on the slopes, and the term also covers resort hotels and ski club buildings that offer overnight accommodation rather than only day use facilities.
