Strathy Hall is an antebellum plantation house near Richmond Hill in Bryan County, Georgia, originally built in 1756 by the Scottish captain James Mackay, who served under General Oglethorpe defending the colony's southern border. Damaged by fire in the early 1800s, the house was rebuilt on its original foundation around 1840 by George W. McAllister, the paternal uncle of Archibald McAllister, who owned Strathy Hall as a large rice plantation on the Ogeechee River.
