York Minster, formally the Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of St Peter in York, is an Anglican cathedral in the city of York, North Yorkshire, England. It is the seat of the archbishop of York, the second highest office of the Church of England, and the mother church for the diocese and province of York, administered by its dean and chapter. It is a Grade I listed building and a scheduled monument.
