Adobe

A sun-dried brick made from a mixture of earth, water and often straw or another binding fiber, one of the oldest and most widespread building materials. It is the traditional material of Pueblo architecture in the American Southwest and of major West African monuments such as the mosques of the Mali sahel, and it remains common in vernacular and low-energy construction across arid climates.
