Macedonian state officials use the villas for summer vacations, and the complex has hosted foreign statesmen including Ban Ki-moon, Leonid Kuchma, Slobodan Milosevic, Sergey Lavrov, Fatmir Sejdiu, Jose Manuel Barroso, Bujar Nishani, Vaclav Klaus, and Paul Kagame.
