The Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) is a learned society and the national professional body for architects in India, headquartered on Dadabhai Naoroji Road in Mumbai. It was established in 1917 as the Architectural Students Association and took its present name in 1929, and today has more than 29,000 members. The IIA belongs to the International Union of Architects, the Commonwealth Association of Architects, and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation of Architects.
