Marble Hill House is a Neo-Palladian villa in Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, England, built between 1724 and 1729 as the residence of Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk, who lived there until her death. It was designed by the architect Roger Morris working with Henry Herbert, 9th Earl of Pembroke, drawing on Andrea Palladio's 1553 Villa Cornaro in Piombino Dese, Italy, and its compact plan, centered on a cubic saloon on the piano nobile, became an influential model for the Georgian English villa and for plantation houses in the American colonies. English Heritage acquired the house in 1986 and now runs it as a museum set in Marble Hill Park, which also includes sports pitches and a children's play area. The house is Grade I listed.
