Facts
Building Type LocationMadurai, Tamil Nadu, India 1 Completed Year Height (m)This is the height of the tallest (southern) gopuram tower only; the complex has several gopurams of differing height and a multi-century, multi-dynasty building history (6th-century origins, 12th-13th-century Pandya structures, 14th-century Vijayanagara rebuild, 16th-17th-century Nayak expansion) with no single completion date, so completed-year is deliberately left unfilled.
