David Rayfiel House

Residential Buildings

The David Rayfiel House, also known as the Sacandaga Glass House, is a historic home at Day in Saratoga County, New York, on the southern shore of the Great Sacandaga Lake in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Built in 1958 to a design by George Lawrence Moore for screenwriter David Rayfiel, the one-and-a-half-story Modern Movement house is 23 feet wide by 20 feet deep, with a glass curtain wall on a concrete foundation, brick end walls and a flat roof with metal capping; it is often compared to Philip Johnson's Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 10, 2009. Has Building Type

House, Concepts

Entity-backed identity for the building-type enum value this building already carries, resolved to an architecture concept by an explicit value-to-entity map (phase 3 bucket conversion, docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md). The building-type fact itself stays on the building unchanged.
