Architect entities are the individual designers and master builders this atlas documents, from Imhotep and Vitruvius through the living Pritzker laureates, grouped into the same eight period-based bands style uses: Ancient and Classical Architecture, Medieval Architecture, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical Architecture, Nineteenth-Century Revival and Eclectic Architecture, Early Modern Movement Architecture, Postwar and Late Modern Architecture, Postmodern and Contemporary Architecture, and Regional and Traditional Architecture. This band is the atlas's biographical spine for architecture: an architect's page links out to the buildings they designed and the style their work belongs to, so browsing by architect is browsing the field by its people rather than by its structures.

View At A Past Year

The atlas records no dated fact of its own for this entry, so there is no other year to choose.
