Bowellism is a modern architectural style heavily associated with the architect Richard Rogers, described as a transient and flippant style influenced by Le Corbusier and Antoni Gaudi. Its defining feature is the placement of a building's own services, such as ducts, sewage pipes and lifts, on the exterior of the structure in order to maximize usable space in the interior.
