Postwar and Late Modern Architecture

Architects of the postwar decades who extended and diversified the modern movement, including Brutalism, corporate late modernism and the structural expressionism of the mid-to-late twentieth century. Belongs here: any architect whose defining practice runs roughly from the 1940s through the 1970s, building on an already-established modern vocabulary rather than founding it. Does not belong here: an early modern pioneer of the movement's founding decades, or a postmodernist reacting against modernism.
