Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical Architecture

Architects of the Renaissance revival of classical proportion and order, the Baroque period's dramatic reworking of that vocabulary, and the later Neoclassical return to strict classical forms, from the fifteenth through the early nineteenth century. Belongs here: any architect whose defining work falls within these related, sequential Western classical revivals. Does not belong here: an architect of ancient antiquity itself, or one working after eclectic revivalism supersedes strict neoclassicism.
