Two International Finance Centre is a skyscraper on Victoria Harbour in Central, Hong Kong, forming part of an integrated commercial development that also includes an office tower, a shopping mall, and a hotel, with the Airport Express railway station situated directly beneath it. Designed by Cesar Pelli and Associates Architects with structural engineering by Ove Arup and Partners, the tower was completed on 18 October 2003, three years after its companion One IFC, and it rises 412 meters across 88 stories, using outrigger trusses for lateral stability and double deck elevators, and omitting floor numbers considered unlucky by local custom. At completion the development ranked among the most expensive commercial projects in the world, costing more than HK 50 billion dollars, and Two IFC remains Hong Kong's second tallest building and among the tallest office structures anywhere.
