Federation Tower is a two-tower skyscraper complex in the Moscow International Business Center in Moscow, Russia, designed by Sergei Tchoban and Peter Schweger through the firms nps tchoban voss and Schweger Associated Architects. Its taller component, Tower East (Vostok), rises 374 meters over 97 stories and was completed on December 7, 2017, while the shorter Tower West (Zapad) reaches 242 meters over 63 stories and was completed in 2008. Tower East briefly held the title of tallest building in Europe from 2014 to 2017 and remains the second-tallest in Europe and in Russia, after the Lakhta Center. The complex, which cost about 1.2 billion dollars to build, combines offices, retail, a hotel, and luxury residences, and its foundation slab set a Guinness record in 2007 when roughly 14,000 cubic meters of concrete were placed in a single continuous pour.
