251 Menlove Avenue

251 Menlove Avenue, known as Mendips, is a semi-detached house built in 1933 in the Woolton suburb of Liverpool, England. John Lennon moved there in July 1946 at age five to live with his aunt Mimi Smith and her husband George Smith, and remained until 1963. The Grade II listed house was bought by Yoko Ono in 2002 and donated to the National Trust, which restored it to its 1950s appearance and opened it to visitors in 2003. An English Heritage blue plaque installed in 2000 marks Lennon's residence there from 1945 to 1963.
