A. V. Peters House

The A. V. Peters House is a house at 1611 Lincoln Street in Eugene, Oregon, built around 1869 and 1870 in the Rural Gothic and Gothic Revival styles using a pattern published by the architect Henry W. Cleaveland in 1856, with further decorative details drawn from Woodward's National Architect of 1869. It is considered one of Oregon's finest examples of the Rural Gothic style, with board and batten siding, ornamental scrollwork on its balcony, and bracketed eaves supporting a steeply pitched roof. The house was moved in 1912 from its original site at the southeast corner of Tenth and Pearl streets to its present location, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 25, 1990.
