Ainola is a two-story wooden house in Jarvenpaa, Finland, built as the home of the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, his wife Aino Jarnefelt, and their six daughters. It was designed by the Finnish architect Lars Sonck, with its foundation laid in the autumn of 1903 and the family moving in during September 1904, while the second floor was not finished until 1911. The house stands near Lake Tuusula, about 38 kilometers north of Helsinki, and is now maintained as a museum by the Ainola Foundation, established in 1972 by Finland's Ministry of Education and the Sibelius Society of Finland.
