Antique Furniture & Wooden Sculpture Museum

The Antique Furniture & Wooden Sculpture Museum occupies the first floor of the ducal courtyard of the Sforza Castle in Milan, Italy, as part of the Sforza Castle Civic Museums. It was founded in 1908 with the purchase of a large furniture collection from the Mora family and has grown since through further gifts and acquisitions from the royal Savoy residences, arranging Italian and Lombard furniture from the 14th century to the present. Its centerpiece is the Chamber of Griselda, a reconstructed 15th-century frescoed room re-created from Roccabianca Castle near Parma, alongside pieces by designers including Giuseppe Maggiolini, Carlo Bugatti, and Ettore Sottsass.
