The Aon Center is a supertall skyscraper in the northeast corner of the Chicago Loop, designed by a partnership of the architecture firms Edward Durell Stone and Perkins and Will and completed in 1973 as the Standard Oil Building. Standing 1,136 feet tall with 83 floors, it is the fourth tallest building in Chicago, surpassed only by the Willis Tower, the Trump International Hotel and Tower, and the St. Regis Chicago.
