B. C. Wandell House

The B. C. Wandell House, also known as The Cedars, is a Second Empire style residence with a characteristic mansard roof in Saddle River, Bergen County, New Jersey, built between 1865 and 1868 for Judge Benjamin Coe Wandell. The four-acre property includes outbuildings such as a barn and a riverside gazebo, and between 1919 and 1941 the estate operated as Shadyside Camp, a YWCA recreational facility. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 29, 1986 as an example of mid-19th-century residential architecture in New Jersey.
