Big House is a historic home in Palisades, Rockland County, New York, and is the oldest surviving dwelling in the hamlet, the only building remaining from its formative years. Built around 1735, it is a large stone dwelling in the vernacular Dutch style, with a rectangular central block flanked by wings. Its National Register nomination describes it as embodying the eighteenth century regional Dutch vernacular building tradition, including its one and a half story gable roofed form, linear plan, multiple entrances, and masonry construction.
