Broadgate Tower is a skyscraper in the City of London, designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill for the developer British Land and completed in 2008 after construction began in 2005, at a cost of about 240 million pounds. It rises 165 meters over 33 floors next to the neighboring 201 Bishopsgate building, the two separated by a covered pedestrian area, and it houses banks, law firms, and financial services tenants. The tower appeared in the James Bond film Skyfall, standing in for a skyscraper in Shanghai.
