Carll S. Burr Mansion

Carll S. Burr Mansion is a historic home in Commack, Suffolk County, New York, built around 1830 and remodeled in the Second Empire style between 1881 and 1885. It is an imposing two and a half story, seven bay shingled residence with a decorative roofline featuring a flat-roofed belvedere, a bracketed cornice and a mansard roof, and the property, which also includes a contributing barn and cottage, is said to have served as a horse race training farm during the 19th century. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
