Casa do Sítio do Tatuapé, House of the Tatuapé, is a bandeirista-cycle house in the Tatuapé district of São Paulo, Brazil, built between 1668 and 1698 by Mathias Rodrigues da Silva and considered the oldest surviving example of the style in the city. Its rammed-earth walls are up to 60 centimeters thick, and its gable roof distinguishes it from comparable colonial structures of the period. The house is now a city-operated museum and heritage site hosting exhibitions and guided tours on colonial Brazilian domestic life.
