Central Plaza is a 374-meter, 78-story skyscraper at 18 Harbour Road in the Wan Chai district of Hong Kong Island, designed by Dennis Lau and Ng Chun Man Architects and Engineers and completed in August 1992. On completion it was the tallest building in Asia, a title it held until 1996, and it was for a time the tallest reinforced-concrete building in the world before CITIC Plaza in Guangzhou surpassed it; it remains Hong Kong's third-tallest tower. The building has a distinctive triangular floor plan, houses the Sky City Church described as the world's highest church within a skyscraper, and displays the time atop the tower through a neon clock that changes color every fifteen minutes.
