Cock-Cornelius House

Cock-Cornelius House, also known as the Wyckoff-Underhill House, is a historic home at Locust Valley in Nassau County, New York. It is a one- to two-and-a-half-story, U-shaped, wood-frame dwelling sheathed in wood shingles, with its main block rising two and a half stories and five bays wide. Local lore holds that the house was built around 1668, though this has been difficult to confirm; the oldest section that can be reliably dated is from the Federal period, about 1790. The house was later expanded in the 1840s and again in the 1920s and 1930s.
