Dalmusternock was a dower house built and occupied by William Mure after his marriage and before he inherited the family seat of Rowallan Castle. It stood in the Barony of Rowallan near Fenwick, East Ayrshire, Scotland, about three miles north of Kilmarnock and eighteen miles south of Glasgow. The estate name is recorded in historical documents in several spellings, including Dalmunsternoch around 1654, Dalmasternock around 1747, and Dalmusterknok in 1775.
