The David Mathews House, also known as the State Line House, stands on the Vermont-New York border along routes in Shaftsbury, Vermont, and Hoosick, New York, a three-story, five-bay brick Federal-style dwelling with patterned brickwork built around 1800 by Continental Army veteran David Mathews. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 10, 1979, on a roughly two-acre parcel straddling the state line.
