Det Norske Hus

Det Norske Hus, Norwegian for The Norwegian House, is a listed building in the Risskov neighbourhood of Aarhus, Denmark, on the northern edge of Riis Skov. Built in 1888 by the architect Martin Nyrop for the Nordic Exhibition of 1888 in Copenhagen, it was one of a themed group of wooden exhibition houses, several of which survive; it was bought by Cecilia Meisner, who had it rebuilt on its present site in Risskov in 1890. It was entered in the Danish national registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 14 October 1996, and remains privately owned and used as a home.
