Eagle Island Camp

Eagle Island Camp is a group of buildings on Eagle Island in Upper Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks of Franklin County, New York, originally built in 1903 as a summer retreat for New York Governor and U.S. Vice President Levi Morton, designed by architect William L. Coulter in the Adirondack Rustic style. In 1938 the Graves family donated the property to a New Jersey Girl Scout council, and it operated as an overnight Girl Scout camp until 2008; Eagle Island, Inc. bought it in 2015 and continues to run it as a youth camp. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 2004.
