Granhammar Castle

Granhammar Castle, known in Swedish as Granhammars slott, is a manor house in Upplands-Bro Municipality in Uppland, Sweden. Its main building was erected between 1748 and 1752 to designs by the architect Carl Harleman, with a guest wing added between 1802 and 1804 to plans by Gustaf Pfeffer. The surrounding park was substantially expanded and landscaped between 1777 and 1819 under Jeanna von Lantingshausen and Baron Albrekt von Lantingshausen. The estate reflects both the Swedish architecture of the Georgian era and the neoclassical refinements of the early nineteenth century.
