Hartwell House is a country house in the parish of Hartwell in Buckinghamshire, in southern England. Owned by the Ernest Cook Trust, it has operated as a Historic House Hotel since 1989 and was leased to the National Trust in 2008. The Grade I listed house combines a Jacobean core with a Georgian front and Rococo interiors, set within a landscaped park, and is best known as the home of the exiled French king Louis XVIII in the early nineteenth century.
