The Iconic Tower is a mixed-use supertall skyscraper in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt, designed by Dar al-Handasah Shair & Partners and built by China State Construction Engineering. Completed in 2024 at a structural height of 394 meters over 77 floors, it is both the tallest building and the tallest structure in Africa, and its design draws on the form of pharaonic obelisks. Of its more than 265,000 square meters of floor area, the first 40 floors are offices, 10 are branded apartments, and the remaining 30 form a five-star hotel; the tower is the centerpiece of a planned 20-tower central business district launched by the Egyptian government in 2015.
