Kenwood House is a stately home on the northern edge of Hampstead Heath in Hampstead, London. The present house was built in the late seventeenth century and was remodelled in the eighteenth century for William Murray, 1st Earl of Mansfield, by the Scottish architect Robert Adam. It served as a residence for the Earls of Mansfield until the twentieth century.
