Kieldson Double House

The Kieldson Double House is a two-story brick and stone duplex at 413-415 Jefferson Street in Boise, Idaho, designed by the firm Tourtellotte & Co. and built in 1903. Its Renaissance Revival facade carries late medieval, Gothic Revival details and two prominent beveled bays flanking a shared central porch. The building takes its name from Louis P. Kieldson, a Danish-born brick and stone mason who settled in Boise in 1891, worked as a contractor on the Idanha Hotel, the Carnegie Library and Garfield School, and later served on the Boise City Council. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 17, 1982.
