The Kinver Rock Houses are cave dwellings cut into the sandstone of Kinver Edge in Staffordshire, England, documented as inhabited from 1617 and possibly excavated as far back as the Iron Age. They are described as the last inhabited troglodyte dwellings in England, with residents living in them until the mid twentieth century. The National Trust restored the houses between 1993 and 1997 and reopened them to the public that October, and the site today includes restored cottages, a museum showing early twentieth century cave life, and a tearoom.
