Long Branch is a historic family seat in Millwood, Virginia, built in the early 19th century by Robert Carter Burwell in 1811 on approximately 1,000 acres, of which about 400 remain with the property today. Named for the creek running through the land, it stayed in the Burwell-Nelson family until 1957 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 1, 1969.
