The Machado de Castro National Museum is an art museum in Coimbra, Portugal, named after the Portuguese sculptor Joaquim Machado de Castro. It first opened in 1913, and its most recent renovation, completed between 2004 and 2012 and including a new building, won the Piranesi/Prix de Rome Prize in 2014.
