Mathern Palace is a Grade I listed building in the village of Mathern in Monmouthshire, Wales, about three miles southwest of Chepstow near the Severn Estuary. From roughly 1408 to 1705 it served as the principal residence of the Bishops of Llandaff. After a period of ruin, the palace was restored between 1894 and 1899 by the architectural writer Henry Avray Tipping, who also laid out its gardens, which are themselves listed on the Cadw and ICOMOS register of historic parks and gardens in Wales.
