MAXXI is a national museum of contemporary art and architecture in the Flaminio neighbourhood of Rome, Italy, designed by Zaha Hadid and run by a foundation established by the Italian Ministry of Culture. The building won the Stirling Prize from the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2010 in recognition of its architectural design.
