The Petite Ecurie is a monument in Versailles, France, standing on the Place d Armes opposite the Palace of Versailles between the Avenue de Paris and the Avenue de Sceaux. Built under the direction of architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart and completed in 1681, it formed part of the Ecuries royales, the royal stables that together with the Grande Ecurie employed roughly 1,000 people under Louis XIV. It today houses the Ecole Nationale Superieure d Architecture de Versailles along with the workshops of the Centre for Research and Restoration of Museums of France.
