The Pompejanum is an idealized replica of a Roman villa on the high bank of the river Main in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, Germany. It was commissioned by King Ludwig I of Bavaria and built in the 1840s as a copy of a domus in Pompeii known as the House of Castor and Pollux.
