Powhatan is a historic home near Five Forks, James City County, Virginia, designed by its owner Richard Taliaferro and built about 1750. It is a two-story, five bay by two bay Georgian style brick dwelling with a hipped roof, dormers, and two massive interior end chimneys shaped like a T. The house was gutted by fire during the American Civil War and was thoroughly restored in 1948.
