Springfield is a historic plantation house near Heathsville in Northumberland County, Virginia, built between 1828 and 1830 as a two and a half story Federal style brick mansion with a central hall plan and stepped gable wings. It was enlarged in the 1850s with Greek Revival design elements, including a pedimented two level portico with fluted columns.
