Villa Lante al Gianicolo

Palaces and Aristocratic Residences

Villa Lante al Gianicolo is a summer villa on the Janiculum Hill in Rome, designed in 1520 and 1521 by Giulio Romano for Baldassare Turini as one of Romano's first independent commissions after the death of his master Raphael.
