Stourhead is a 1,072-hectare estate at the source of the River Stour in Wiltshire, England, built around a Grade I listed Neo-Palladian mansion designed by Colen Campbell between 1721 and 1724 and rebuilt in 1906 after a fire. The estate is equally known for its landscape garden, laid out between 1741 and 1780 under the direction of the banker Henry Hoare II, and is regarded as one of England's most celebrated works of landscape design. The National Trust has held the property since 1946 and manages the mansion and grounds as a visitor site.
