Segmented Pagoda-Tiered Tower Taipei 101, formerly the Taipei World Financial Center, is a 508 meter, 101 story skyscraper in Taipei, Taiwan, owned by the Taipei Financial Center Corporation. It was officially the world's tallest building from its opening on December 31, 2004, until the Burj Khalifa surpassed it in 2009, and it remains the tallest building in Taiwan and, as of 2026, the eleventh tallest in the world.
