U.S. Bank Tower (Los Angeles)

The U.S. Bank Tower is a commercial office skyscraper at 633 West Fifth Street in downtown Los Angeles, also known locally as the Library Tower. Designed by Henry N. Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed and Partners with Ellerbe Becket, it was completed in 1989 and opened in 1990, rising 1,018 feet (310.3 meters) across 73 floors above ground, topped by an illuminated glass crown. It held the title of California tallest building from 1989 until the Wilshire Grand Center surpassed it in 2016, and it remains the third-tallest building in California. Silverstein Properties, the developer of the World Trade Center, purchased the tower in 2020 and completed a 60 million dollar renovation in 2023.
