Verville is a historic plantation house near Merry Point in Lancaster County, Virginia, built around 1742 as a one-and-a-half-story brick dwelling in a single-pile, central-passage Colonial plan. Between 1803 and 1815 its gambrel roof and interior woodwork were altered to suit Federal-era taste. The five-acre property has been privately owned since 1959, when Walter and Elizabeth Oliver bought it and carried out a restoration, and it was listed on the Virginia Landmarks Register in 1986 and the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
